Welcome Back Friends,
So friends I don’t know where you live but in Newfoundland Spring/Summer is not always blue skies and clouds. Its usually windy semi-cold and raining a fair bit of the time. That usually means I will be getting my FitBit steps in at home while watching TV. I personally do not watch a lot of TV, I tend to stick to YouTuber and Netflix. So without further ado let’s jump into this list!
The Secret Life of the American Teenager
I recently discovered when I looked up the creator of 7th Heaven and realized this was a show she had a hand in too. There are five season. Each episode is an hour long. Here is a quick little synopsis:
Brenda Hampton, creator of “7th Heaven” is behind the drama about the ways a teen pregnancy affects the lives of close-knit friends and family members. When Amy finds out she’s pregnant after a fling at band camp, she faces a number of challenges. Her decisions have far-reaching effects on her family and friends, but Amy also learns that most teens in her school have issues they must deal with.
This is a Netflix Original Series starring the beyond talented Julie Andrews. This is a light hearted kids puppet show type of show but it has so many life lessons and it is beyond educational. Plus who doesn’t love hearing Julie Andrews sing?
Adorable puppets stage their own musical under the watchful eye of mentor Julie Andrews in this original kids’ series from the Jim Henson Company.
The Mindy Project
This show I have not watched yet but was recently given book as part of an office book club, so naturally me being me I had to check out the show. I am determined to binge watch this one in the next week or so.
Mindy Lahiri is a successful, skilled doctor, but when she leaves the office, all bets are off. She aspires to become a more well-rounded woman, someone who is punctual, frugal and well-read instead of someone who is obsessed with romantic comedies and likely to give an inappropriate toast at a wedding. Despite stumbles, Mindy remains determined to get her personal and romantic life on track — before her friends and colleagues are forced to stage an intervention — and find her perfect happy ending.
Pretty Little Liars
I have had a time watching this. I have been a fan from day one. The series is coming to an end in eight episodes. This show is insane, edge of your seat once you start you can’t stop.
As time has passed since Alison, then the queen bee of the bunch, went missing. Spencer, Aria, Hanna and Emily have gone on with their lives, though they’ve grown apart. As the years go by, each girl finds herself facing a new set of challenges when anonymous text messages from “A” threaten to expose all their secrets — both old secrets the girls were sure only Alison knew, and newer secrets developed after Alison’s disappearance. Who is “A” and how does he or she know the things he or she knows? Based on the series of novels by Sara Shepard
So with all of that being said leave me a comment and tell me what your shows are that you love to binge watch on Netflix. I am always open to suggestions.
